An Applefest Poem

Our Applefest is fast approaching. All Volunteers are receiving extra coaching.

You can sense the excitement that’s in the air from all who will attend the happy affair.

Apples are being bought for the pies to be made. To anyone who is interested, we can use your aid.

The beautiful prize car proudly stands on display. In order to win, you might have to pray.

Many more prizes are awaiting a winner and you might also enjoy a tasty chicken dinner.

Fr. Harvey’s famous chili is another yearly event and to purchase this is money well spent.

Apple Pies will fill the air with a delicious aroma. These bakers certainly deserve a well-earned diploma.

We hope all will come, both young and old, to have a great time and stay in the fold.

Can I buy a wrist band for the rides?

Applefest does not offer wrist bands for rides.

How much do rides (etc.) cost?

As a family festival, the Applefest core team works to keep ride prices as low as possible for festival-goers. Most rides cost less than a sandwich at a local fast food restaurant; the really fun ones might set you back a small latte'.  Kiddie rides are a single ticket.  For the detail, check out the prices page!

Is there an ATM?

Why yes, there is!  It's conveniently located just behind (north of) the information booth - pretty much right in the middle of the festival grounds.

How is Bingo run? What are the payouts?

Glad you asked!  The Bingo page (over here) has all the detail on card prices, games and payouts.

Can I volunteer to help?

Did you know that over 1,000 volunteers every year have fun hosting the Applefest for the Fenton community?  Some of our volunteers have been (and I'm not kidding) having fun for almost 40 years!  Seriously!  If you'd like to have fun and contribute to the area's best family festival, head on over to the volunteer area of the website, and get in touch with us.
